ride"
Max came to Wholand as a child when on a boat ride his father stumbled on a cottage for sale. A cottage later to be known as “Sundance” thanks to his mom. They knew they were on to something special so his Grandpa bought the lot next store and built his own place and soon after his Uncle Walt bought the next lot over.
Max’s Grandpa then brought this guy named George by and he fell in love and bought the next lot in line. This “guy” George would later be known as The Mayor and reside in the Capital of Wholand. But for now he’d settle for a platform tent called “While Your Up”. Max enjoyed his tenure in Wholand from the 60’s to the early 70’s. Had Max and his family not stumbled on that cottage and brought their friend George, would there even have been a Wholand?
So next time you raise you party glass, salute George, but thank Max!
